Other than Forry Ackerman himself, no one had such an impact on that influential magazine than he did. Rest in peace, Basil. Through your work you had already become immortal, long before Prince Sirki took you from us. ...

We were devastated to hear of the passing of our long time friend and cover artist, Basil Gogos. His legendary art not only captured the eyes and hearts of Monster Kids, but inspired others to pursue art and their love for horror. Rest in peace, old friend. July 29, 2017, we had our official unveiling of the Sfanthor Chamber of Horrors. It was made even more special by a visit from Victoria Price, daughter of Vincent Price, who is featured in the museum. She shared stories about her life with her father for a lucky group in our event room.
